CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) is an another type of plastic pipe that needs a solvent cement when assembled. This pipe is used for water systems. Weld-on 714 is a CPVC solvent cement that is specifically made for CPVC pipe and fittings and applicable for all classes and schedules that fit through 12" in diameter, including Schedule 80. It is an orange or Gray in color, heavy bodied, medium setting-more working time is needed during warm weather.
